Interfaith Programming

MCC provides many opportunities for interfaith programming in your community. Explore the programs and resources below to find out how you can get involved in, and learn more about, supporting and encouraging interfaith understanding.

  • Taking Heart Iftar Dinner
Taking Heart is an annual program through MCC and the Muslim American Society of Minnesota where mosques and Islamic Community Centers welcome non-Muslim neighbors for the traditional evening Iftar meal, which breaks the fast of Ramadan. In 2016, more than 800 non-Muslims attended the free Iftar dinners. Learn more.
  • Blessed Ramadan Signs
From neighborhood hate crimes to campaign rhetoric, we see negativity directed against Muslims. In response, we created a positive way to demonstrate a caring spirit toward Muslim Minnesotans. Learn more.
  • Twin Cities Interfaith Network (TCIN)
In order to strengthen interfaith relationships, MCC participates in TCIN, an organization composed of individuals who provide leadership in organizations or groups who are working to further interfaith understanding. Learn more.
  • "Belief"
A groundbreaking seven-part, Oprah-Winfrey-hosted interfaith documentary. Learn more.
  • Statement on Syrian Refugees
