Churches have been builders of peace in the midst of conflict for millennia. There are many different ways to practice peace and build it - Respectful Conversations being only one. Practice another way to manage conflict, boost empathy, strengthen relationships, promote social cohesion, support democracy, and build bridges by attending a Better Together Film Festival screening.
Through the Better Together Film Festival Minnesota congregations and other communities partner with national and international peacebuilding and entertainment professionals. Watching a values-based movie or documentary about people bridging their divides actually makes us more ready to be peacemakers ourselves.
